Artist Statement
The subject matter of my work has always been nature. From a heavily painted and beaded textile to a delicately hand sewn monoprint, the mission is the same: present a unique interpretation of the balance between the seen and the unseen in nature. I try to capture the energy that surrounds every living thing. Through bright colors, beading and sewing my work infuses the rhythms of nature with the energy of life. Everyone and everything is connected through this life force energy. Much like the thread that binds my art together, we are all connected through invisible energy of life.
